What is
Reconstituted Stone?
Reconstituted stone (also known as man-made or engineered stone) is a composite material made from crushed stone (usually 90-95% quartz) bound together by an adhesive.
Engineered stone products are used mostly for kitchen benchtops and splashbacks, retail counter tops, bathroom vanity tops and wall cladding.
Why use
Reconstituted Stone?
Hard Wearing. The finished surface is very hard, resistant to scratching and cracking and any minor damage can easily be repaired.
Consistent Colour. Reconstituted stone is available in many different colours which remain consistent throughout the slab so that each piece you have will look the same.
Non-porous. Reconstituted stone is non-porous making it stain-resistant, hygienic and safe to use in the kitchen where food can be prepared directly on its surface.
Easy to Clean. Because the surface does not absorb liquids it is stain-resistant and easy to clean.
